Beads are always winking at me, and I have collected everywhere along the way… an American southwest antique mall, West African craftspeople in Mali, a Parisian street market, a Shanghai backstreet shop, a bin of jewelry in a local resale boutique, or my grandmother’s closet. I am enamored with them all, and I can't help harvesting more wherever I go. Combining the color, scale, materials -- and each of their unique histories is the most fun work I can imagine.
There won't ever be another one like this one. Or that one.
You can be sure nobody else will be wearing the one you picked.
There might be a few that are fairly similar, but that's okay,
...it's all yours the minute you put it on.
